VeBON

VeBON (Vereniging van Buitensport Ondernemingen Nederland) is the Dutch sector organisation for outdoor sports entrepreneurs. Its members include companies with activities in the Netherlands and the Belgian Ardennes, sports event agencies, climbing centres, organisations with active travel and agro-recreational companies. VeBON offers its members both advice and support in organising activities and running their businesses. In addition, VeBON represents the interests of entrepreneurs in the outdoor sports sector. It serves as the official partner in consultations with various government bodies, safety institutes, sports associations, educational institutions, SME sports platform and RECRON.

TÜV certified

VeBON companies devote extra attention to the safety aspects of outdoor activities. Every member is obliged to apply a special safety system that is audited annually by TÜV Service Check Nederland. TÜV is an independent and accredited body that assesses the safety policy of outdoor sports companies according to established standards. The safety system comprises components including a comprehensive risk analysis of activities, risk management measures, records and checks on the equipment used.
